Opening TT practice session cancelled

Tonights first practice session of this years Isle of Man TT has been cancelled due to adverse weather conditions.
It was due to start at 18:20, however low cloud and fog around the course means the racing must be held off until tomorrow.

Clark of the Course, Gary Thompson said “Tonight’s first practice is unfortunately cancelled due to adverse weather conditions. Low cloud and mist is affecting the TT Course and is unlikely to improve. Tonight’s practice will be held tomorrow afternoon (26th May). Roads close - 12.45pm with practice starting at 1.30pm.”

Tomorrows sessions will continue with the same format that was planned for today, although roads are closing at 13:00 instead.
