Slow
Ballabeg hairpin is the slowest corner on the Billown Circuit. The average speed is just over 30 mph for this corner, and it can be very deceiving for riders, as the camber of the road drags the rider into the corner earlier than they need to turn. The best line for Ballabeg is to take a wide approach on the left hand side and throw the bike into the corner very late. The area on the right hand side is mostly restricted to spectators, however the left hand side features a hedge that can be climbed onto from the field, giving a great perspective of the approach to the hairpin. There is a grassy section on the outside of the corner that features catering and toilets and seating for spectators.
